There’s a lot of driving involved and maneuvering of large vehicles which can be dangerous. Garbage collectors can be hit by a garbage truck or involved in a crash with other types of vehicles.
Logging industry jobs
Working in the lodging industry is also on our list of the most dangerous jobs in the United States. Logging workers are at a risk of heavy objects and heavy equipment and machinery used to handle the trees. Since their main job is to harvest trees for wood, paper and other uses they spend half of their workday in forests or other secluded areas. The majority of fatal injuries are caused by heavy machines or logs.

People working in the roofing industry work at different heights depending on their current worksite. From buildings to houses, each one of these roofs can be potentially dangerous if they’re not using the right safety equipment.
